We build (and re-build) large boat trailers. Our 34' tandem (torsion-bar axles) 14,000 lb capacity trailers average $ 4,600 which is less than half the price other companies charge. For people who just want to get their boats out of a marina and take them home, we have a no-frills system for rebuilding used trailers to fit their boats. We weld in new rollers or uprights and lengthwise supports where needed to fit a specific boat, extend the tongue if needed, replace the axles if needed, install new lights, pack the wheel bearings, and add a spare tire on a carrier for $ 3,750 (for a 27’ 6,000 lb vessel) ---- and even less if the customer doesn’t require a paint job. As a standard feature we mount our axles on an adjustable "rail" system that allows the customer to slide the entire axle system forward or backward to achieve proper tongue weight for safer towing. This system also allows the trailer to be adjusted to carry different boats. We email each customer a work-in-progress photo during construction, then a final photo is sent when the trailer is ready to receive their vessel. We enjoy what we do, and we're good at it. We want your business. Let us know if we can help you put a trailer under your boat. Just email our shop at WeBuildTrailers@AOL.com for a price quote.
