| America's Cup The Louis Vuitton Cup starts October 18, 1999. Eleven teams, five of them from the United States will square off in a round robin series to determine who will have the right to challenge New Zealand for the America's Cup. Virtual Spectator is offering a software package that will follow the boats positioning information in realtime and display the race on your computer as it is happening. ESPN will have a pre-race show on Sunday, Oct 17, at 2:00pm EST. Check you local listings and set your VCR. The first race coverage will be on November 1 at 2:30am EST. Both broadcasts will be on ESPN2. |
