The Annapolis Boat Show
Everybody's Talkin' at me ...

Annapolis has always been a great show, at least as long as I can remember. Last year they added more tents and more gear making this show "the place" to find those items not in your friendly supply catalog. And this year...MORE!

So, shopping list in hand we headed down to our favorite city on the Bay for a day of walkin' and talkin' boats. What a great show! We've bugged every boat store this side of the Mississippi for a set of blocks with cam cleats to use for the twings on Evil Waves. Walking through one of the tents we saw them hanging on the wall. The last two and at half price.

This Show has Everything!

We found everything we were looking for and made note of a few new ideas for both of our boats. One recommendation, schedule two days for yourself. This show is so big you can't possibly see everything in one day.

Cheribini

Picking our favorite boat at a show gets harder every year. There are so many great boats here. Race boats, weekenders, live-a-boards, monohulls and multihulls. This year Cheribini caught our fancy. After all, Captain Ron is the funniest ever sailing movie.

The Galley

These beautiful boats are built just up the road in New Jersey. They combine the beautiful lines of classic design, modern materials and functional layout into a go anywhere live-a-board.

Just look at this galley. Bright and pleasant with loads of counter space and storage. The classic U-shaped galley allows the cook to wedge themselves in during heavy weather and puts everything at hand. These folks really know how to build a boat. Do yourself a favor and ask for a tour the next time you see a Cheribini.
